EMSA

EMSA, English Medical Students Association, represents the interests of students enrolled in the English program of the Faculty of Medicine, University “Iuliu Hatieganu” Cluj-Napoca. EMSA and its members support the ideas, necessities and interests of foreign students. Through a good collaboration with the other student societies, our target is to facilitate a better integration of foreign students within the academic medium, the Romanian society and culture. The association is managed by a President, a Vice President and a Senate representative who are elected each year.
Several other students help them by the management of “departments” they lead, recruiting volunteers and organising events.
A second group of elected students, the class representatives, represent their seria at the EMSA Council, for administrative issue mainly.

The main goals of the association are :

- Facilitating the communication between students enrolled in the English program and the administration of the Medical Faculty and University

- Solving students’ problems and trying to answer their questions

- Representing the foreign students enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine, English program

- Integrating foreign students in the Romanian culture and university medium through common projects realized togetherwith the other student societies from the University.

- Helping english learning students to socialize.
