Dear students,
As you know, since 9 March 2022, the state of alert has been raised on the territory of our country. Since we still have a large number of cases of COVID-19 and the danger has not yet passed, please continue to wear the protective mask in the University's spaces and observe the epidemiological measures (declaration of their state of health, frequent hygiene of hands, thermometer, self-isolation if applicable).
Our university, as a health promoter and trainer for future medical and pharmaceutical professionals, also recommends and continues to support the wearing of the protective medical mask both in enclosed spaces and in crowded open spaces, such as markets or bus stops.
Thank you for your collaboration,
DEAN

Starting with December 16, 2021, the bachelor's degrees approved by the Ministry of Education, for graduates of foreign citizens of the 2021 promotion can be picked up from the Bureau of Studies, V. Babeș Street no. 8, 4th floor, from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 3 pm.
Dear students,
As you already know, Romania is currently witnessing a fourth wave of epidemics, which puts a high strain on the hospital system. New restrictions came into effect on October 25, 2021 :
Wearing a mask covering the nose and mouth is mandatory throughout the public space, both indoor and outdoor.
Freedom of individual movement is restricted between 10:00 pm and 5:00 am, except for those vaccinated, passed through the disease, or traveling for justified reasons.
A health pass is required to access all public institutions, except supermarkets and pharmacies. Access is therefore only possible on presentation of the “European COVID Digital Certificate”, in paper or electronic form. The French sanitary pass is compatible with this format.
Night bars, clubs and discos are closed.
All shops are closed between 9pm and 5am
Public places, such as cafes and restaurants (indoor and outdoor), cinemas, theatres, concert halls, playrooms, gyms, swimming pools, must have a rating of 50% of their usual capacity.
The same access gauge and limitations apply to cultural, artistic and outdoor entertainment activities, sports competitions, conferences and adult education.
All private events are prohibited (weddings, baptisms).

Dear students,
For reasons of epidemiological security, please use the protective mask not only in enclosed spaces but also in outdoor areas belonging to the university and hospitals: in the courtyard of decanates, around the amphitheaters and any teaching area, in the courts of hospitals, etc.
Thank you,
DEAN

Dear students,
Please be acknowledged on provisions stated in PROCEDURE on organizing online exams at the „Iuliu Haţieganu” University of Cluj-Napoca
The exam takes place orally online, on the Microsoft Teams 365 platform, located in the University portfolio.
The exam will assess both students’ theoretical and practical knowledge.
The exam will be an OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) - the student enters successively one or more "stations" - virtual rooms, according to a pre-arranged schedule.
Exam scheduling will be completed by May 30 for linear education and by June 5 for modular education.
Exams can be scheduled any day of the week, including Saturdays and Sundays and can take place between 8 am and 8 pm. The exam scheduling is brought to the attention of teachers and students by posting on the Faculty website, on groups and on the Series / Group Team until May 30 for linear education and until June 5 for modular education.
For linear education the student will take an exam in one subject per day. For modular education, a student can take exams in several disciplines on the same day. In the case of a complex exam, completed with a single grade, a student takes only the complex exam in one day.
The students’ participation in the exam is conditioned by the compliance with the regulations regarding their presence at the teaching activities.
Students are responsible for ensuring the technical conditions necessary to take the exam (internet connection, camera, microphone, etc.).
Students have the obligation to take the exam (to enter the platform) on the date and time set according to the schedule, with the group / series they belong to.
Students will be present for examination with their student card and identity card (or passport). At the entrance to each station, students place the ID / student card with their photo, in front of the video camera of the computer / tablet / phone, so they can be identified.
Substitution of a person at the exam represents fraud, is forbidden and is punishable by expulsion of both the student and the substitute student.
The number of stations is determined by each discipline. At each station, the student randomly chooses one or more subjects from the exam topic. The exam lasts up to 10 minutes for a station.
In a sequence of stations, at each station the student meets another examiner.
The schedule of entry, examination and exit from the station must be strictly observed, so as not to cause serious disturbances in the conduct of the examination.
In each station, the student is graded by the examiner with grades from 1 to 10, according to a predetermined scale for each subject / question. The mark obtained at the oral examination cannot be contested. The algorithm according to which the final mark of the exam is calculated takes into account the marks obtained at each station and is unique at the level of each discipline. Other elements can be taken into account in calculating the final grade: activity portfolio, seminars, ongoing evaluations, etc., according to the Discipline Description.
The grades will be communicated to students individually and confidentially by the group assistants.
Details regarding the examination (number of stations, content of each station / chapters examined, grading method, possible elimination stations, algorithm for calculating the final grade, etc.) will be communicated to students by posting on the website, on the platform, in groups and other electronic means of communication by May 30, for linear education and by June 5, for modular education.
Exam simulations will be organized before the session, so that each student goes through at least one online exam simulation.
Examination rules must be followed by the entire academic community.
